Apparent change, not a demonstrated trend. Between the two years the lab redefined its strata: the ICU moved into inpatient (it had been pooled with outpatient), and non-institutional sites were removed from outpatient. Part of every delta below is therefore definitional rather than biological. Two points also cannot establish a direction — outpatient MRSA prevalence, for example, ran 14% −> 18% −> 14% across 2023−24−25. Treat single-year movements as hypotheses to check against the 3-year ICU / ED strata, not as established resistance trends.
